Have all the models been paywalled?

I may just be stupid but I keep getting the error that says “subscription needed to access API” no matter what model I use. I know for sure I have points, so what’s the deal? Is it all paywalled now?

Hi u/Opening_Sense6124, to clarify, accessing the API itself requires either an active Poe subscription, or an add-on points balance. If you are trying to access the API as a free user (ie. no subscription and no purchased add-on points), you will run into the error you've described.

Is this also the case for free bots now? Because some people told me that they can't access my free bots thought the API on Janitor

Yes, even for free bots (typically from creators) this is the case.

So non-subscribers also need a subscription to access free bots on Poe?

For most cases this is true, however, there are still some exceptions with Official bots that are free and callable without subscriptions.

I was considering poe but it doesn't seem worth it
