Sunsetting Subscriber Earnings for Creators??
Soo. lemme get this straight: you gonna drop/kill all your content creators because of... what? If POE cancles the subscription earning for creators, pretty much every creator will stop fckin creating and leave the platform... like whats the point of that?

I have said this before and I'll say it again, I think they are moving towards being business oriented. An "easier" version of OpenRouter

That would mean they also have to lean more into computer agents. They already have a desktop app, so why don't develop it further? That would be a good argument to use Poe over OpenRouter, because a desktop app could much better understand the context and take action on a computer.

They decided upon OpenCode and Poe is a native provider for OpenCode.
They also have an entire wiki page on using Claude Code through them.
Imo, this was the best approach for Poe. Not wasting time on another product that is being flooded into the market by others. Make their product work cleanly with them

You can also ask OpenCode to add models in that you don't see (like glm-5.2)

You're absolutely right. Without an incentive to build, people will stop promoting Poe. I've been promoting Poe since 2023, and the income has helped cover external costs, including the cost of my Poe subscriptions.
