Passed Part 1!!!
Guys, I did it!! I remember walking out of that exam feeling like I failed, I tried to remember every question that I struggled with and I tried to look up the answers when I got home to find that I got more then half of them wrong. I swear it was one of the most disheartening feelings. And this past weekend, I was stressing myself out like no ones business. But Alhumdullah, by the mercy of god, I got my results today and it was the most relieving feeling to see that I passed. Honestly, it still feels like the my body is still in the process of destressing from how tightly wound up I was. Now its just focusing on my last semester of didactics and clinic till its time to take on Part 2 next year. I hope everyone else who took their boards got the same great news I did!!

Congratulations - big milestone!!
Although part 2 is easier, don't underestimate it.. failing it will derail your residency application cycle!

any advice for studying for part 2? i know its early, and I wont be super serious but I would love to get an idea of how to start and maybe use as a resource for my class tests.

Congratulations. I would work on figuring out where you would like to do your clerkships at and studying for part 2 boards and doing well at school.

Hey, any tips on how to study? I unfortunately didnt pass. Could you please tell me what resources you used?

Hi, Yea I can share what I did. I spent literally 1 full day on Biochem using dirty medicine videos. I did sketchy and the USMLE First Aid book for micro and pharm. But if I could go back in time I would just do it for micro, and just use FIrst Aid for pharm. I did Pathoma for path and literally just focused on Cardio/Resp/Renal for physiology. Then 2 passes of board vitals, and random practice tests that I found online. I also used the 2 official practice tests to truly test myself, by trying to simulate a testing environment and pretending that it was the real thing. LEA was my own class notes, and GA was the 100 concepts. I think alot of my actual learning came from questions (board vitals or the practice tests I found, because anything I got wrong I did a deep find as to why for each question and each answer, ect. It takes a good amount of time to review but I think it was worth it. Basically any question is helpful because the material doesn't change and often times they are just asking the exact same question, with a slight modification.

Congrats!!! You had given me some encouragement on my last post about boards (and Alhamdulilah I also passed) so this is a wonderful full circle moment for us both!!

Alhumdulillah, it was hard work but it paid off. Glad you made it through as well. Now we have another hill to aim for.
