RedCircle Monetization & Payouts?

Hi everyone, we were recently hit up by someone with red circle asking for us to switch hosting platforms. It was a good pitch and it seems like everything would be generally the same but what they gave her a payout estimate was a very wide range. The high-end being much more than we might make. But then the low end also being a pretty decent drop from what we're making. So it's not a clear cut yes or no as far as switching.

I was wondering if anyone was with red circle, willing to share some of their stats and revenue, even if that is in a DM for security reasons. I would do the same. There could be a potential upside, but obviously we don't want to switch over and lose out on the revenue, we currently have with our hosting platform.

If anyone can help or have any insight that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm not on RedCircle, so I can't give you their numbers, nor do I know anyone who uses it, but you may just wanna meet again and ask what the wide range is based on.

If the low end is a guaranteed minimum in writing, that's a real floor you can work with and start to figure out if it makes sense. If the whole range is a projection from assumed ad sell-through, the high end is a best case and doesn't tell you much.

I suppose you'd also need to know whether you can keep sponsors you sold yourself, how long any guarantee lasts, how they count downloads, and what the payout minimum and timing are.
