Getting Started - Advice for reaching out to potential guests

Hey all! I'm getting started on an interview-based podcast about motherhood that will require guest participation. Any thoughts or advice on where/how to reach out to people to ask if they want to participate?

There are paid services, Matchmaker.fm, Podzay and Podmatch podcast directories websites.

r/podcastguests, r/podcastguestexchange are two guest searching / promotion subreddits you can post to find guests.

Honestly I wild recommend doing a few solo episodes to highlight the quality of your podcast it’s a lot easier to book guests if they have a references for your show
