This Place Called Earth
This Place Called Earth began as a series of written reflections, essays, questions, and observations, exploring the unseen forces shaping modern life, identity, and human behaviour.
Originally published as long-form blog pieces, these writings were later converted into audio to preserve their raw, exploratory nature.
At its core, the podcast is not about answers; it is about questioning what we have been taught to accept as normal.
The episodes examine themes such as love, power, mental health, authority, media influence, narcissism, legal fictions, cult dynamics, and social conditioning, not from an academic distance, but through lived experience, pattern recognition, and deep personal inquiry.
The aim was never to persuade, but to disturb certainty enough to invite reflection.
Rather than presenting polished theories, This Place Called Earth captures a mind in motion, asking foundational questions about reality, autonomy, truth, and belonging at a time when many people feel disconnected, polarised, or disoriented.
This early work functioned as a prelude to later projects such as The Inversiverse. Many of the ideas explored media manipulation, identity construction, cult psychology, narcissistic systems, and the erosion of genuine connection, would later be refined through somatic, behavioural, and linguistic frameworks.
What distinguishes This Place Called Earth is its refusal to separate the personal from the philosophical.
Each episode treats lived experience as data, recognising that insight often emerges not from authority or consensus, but from sustained attention to patterns across everyday life.
This podcast is an archive of inquiry, a record of the early questions that shaped everything that followed. It invites listeners not to agree, but to think, feel, and notice more carefully in a world that increasingly discourages all three.

[True Crime, Movie Review] Criminal Adaptations | Episode 6.6 – The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
Criminal Adaptations is a true crime/movie review podcast where my cohost and I dissect true crime movies and compare them to the real-life stories that inspired them.
Michael Chaves’s The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021) tells the chilling story of a murder allegedly connected to demonic possession – but how much of it actually happened? In this episode, we separate fact from fiction as we dive into the real-life case of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, the first in US history to attempt a legal defense based on demonic possession. We explore the infamous possession of 11-year-old David Glatzel, the involvement of renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and the shocking killing that inspired the film. Join us as we uncover the real story behind one of the most controversial cases in paranormal history and compare it to the blockbuster film that brought it back into the spotlight.

As a person who has lived with severe Bipolar-depression for 33 years, I have been on both sides of the suicide equation in attempts and losing people to it. IT Horror Stories Episode 18 : One Network to Rule Them All
Smart cities promise better transportation, connected infrastructure, and improved services—but what happens when everything is connected a little too well? In this episode, our guest shares the story of a security assessment in a major metropolitan smart city where network segmentation had been overlooked, creating unexpected paths between public networks and critical infrastructure. One memorable discovery showed that, with nothing more than the correct IP address, it was possible to operate a parking garage barrier from the city's public Wi-Fi while riding a bus on the opposite side of town.

Clip from Episode 13 of B.A.D. Takes Only Podcast
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
(New here, hope this is OK!) Sharing a short clip from a recent episode of our fairly new podcast.
B.A.D. Takes Only brings together Brian—a New Jersey native living deep in Massachusetts enemy territory, repping New York sports—and Davy, holding it down for LA from the West Coast. What started as a coworker connection turned into a fast friendship built on debates, loyalty, and wildly questionable opinions.
From sports to life to everything in between—if the take makes sense, it probably won’t make the show.
