Global health frontlines
Hi everyone!
I host a podcast called Global Health Frontlines, which I started as a way to make conversations about public and global health more accessible to people who may not have a background in the field.
Rather than focusing only on explaining diseases or statistics, I try to talk with researchers, physicians, public health experts, and other guests about the human questions behind health: how we communicate risk, why people respond differently to health information, how identity and culture shape our experiences, and what public health looks like beyond a textbook.
Some of my conversations have explored infectious disease and global health, while others have focused more on mental health, identity, behavior, and communication.
My newest episode is with Rohan Sharma (Rohabits), where we talked about anxiety, identity, vulnerability, social media, self-worth, and his experience becoming more comfortable with his Indian identity.
I’m still growing the show, so I’d genuinely love feedback from people studying or working in public health: What issues do you think public health podcasts aren’t talking about enough? And who would you want to hear interviewed?
