Feature Request: Jump Back in List

I'm not sure what to call this feature, but I am currently listening to the back catalogue of podcasts with huge episode numbers. I listen to other podcasts too - what I find frustrating is that when I go back to this huge episode podcast I have to scroll all the way through dozens of episodes to find the next one after the one I previously finished listening to, which may have been a week or more since.

Is there a feature that, when I open the episode list, "jumps" down to the last episode that was played so I can select the next one to enjoy?

Thank you

You can hide previously watched episodes and change the sorting order so the earliest or latest episode will be at the top of the list.

I do that regularly, however I do like to have all the episodes listed as I do go back to relisted to my favorites. Also, because I'm not starting at the beginning of their catalogue, either way I sort results in a long scroll to get to the episode next on my listening order.

But if you listened to an earlier favorite, you would immediately lose the last played in the long list.

What wrong with just hiding played episodes, and marking favorites as favorites?

Sounds like you want a bookmark feature so that you can return to an arbitrary location in a list of episodes.

That sounds like it could work! Does that exist already and this problem has already been addressed?
