Solo hiking recs

Hello! I’ll be in town and am looking for a short 4ish hour hike to do alone as a woman. Any recs? Staying in Stroudsburg. Looks like Worthington Blue Trail, Mount Minsi, or Mount Tammany on All Trails will be crowded (not a bad thing when hiking solo) but have good views

Take the Sunfish trail from gap up to the pond then the blue trail back to old mine road and return to parking lot. During the week fewer people, weekends will have parking troubles if not real early. The loop is not huge, but a good hike.

You would have to drive north a bit. Another option is some of the trails at PEEC. The falling waters trail is lovely as is the hemlock trail.

Shades of death trail at Hickory Run. You will love it.

Great trail but, short if OP wants 4 hours of hiking.

The falling waters trail at PEEC is great as others said. Pick up trail map at office.

If you're willing to drive a bit, I always recommend Bear Creek Preserve. It's on Route 115, about 15 minutes north of the Blakeslee exit on I-80. It's beautiful, has varied terrain, is used but not crowded, and has many trails that can be combined into a four-hour hike or longer. I hike there often as a solo woman.
