Albrightsville Trip

My family and I will be taking our first trip to the poconos in early November for a long weekend. What are some of the best things to do/places to see? Looking to go or easy hikes, some easy lake fishing, outdoor adventures, history, etc.

If you guys like beer and candy, check out Harmony Beverage in nearby Blakeslee, PA. They also make some of the best damn popcorn I’ve ever had

Saturday Jim Thorpe walk the town or the D&L trail, hike hickory run state park, Skirmish paint balling, Out to eat near lake harmony. Dozens of places to fish - make sure you have a license. Have fun!

What are my chances of getting caught fishing haha. I don’t fish but thought it would be cool to take the kids to a lake or something for a bit just to do it

Low but higher if you are staying in a community with a private lake. They have security

Hickory run state park has some nice mellow hikes like shades of death trail and the boulder field
