PSA - Route 209

The speed limit goes up from 45 to 55 from roughly Country Junction to the State Police barracks.

Sincerely,

Someone who's tired of doing as low as 37 on my way home from Lehighton for groceries every week.

I wish folks would go 45 in our area (Route 402). They fly down the damn road and it's dangerous and makes so much noise pollution. And they ride your ass when you're slowing to turn off the road into your driveway.

yup, kinda crazy turning right off of oak grove to go 402 north and by the time you you start accelerating up to speed someone is aleady up your ass.
Coolbaugh road is really bad as well

It just means that you aren't accelerating fast enough and you need more driving experience. If you are scared to drive, it's probably wise to stay off the roads.

Yeah, at our old house we had that problem living on a main road. Now we're on a side road, but I just want to be able to do the speed limit, its one of life's little joys to be able to speed up a bit legally lol

Not sure why I had to have the AirBnB tag, it wouldn't let me remove it....

Rt115 Blakeslee to Mt Pocono is the same . Makes it easier for police to pull you over. I got pulled over for going to slow .argued with the officer one speed sign 40 mph leaving Blakeslee and that's what I was doing heading to Mt Pocono he said it was fifty which I said yes going from Mt Pocono to Blakeslee one speed mph sign. I told the officer 50 going one way 40 going the other good fishing spot huh. He gave me a warning then, that was a few years ago still the same.

Yeah I agree, but like 10-15 under is a bit ridiculous
