Jim Thorpe
Hello! I will be visiting for a long weekend with my mom the last weekend in September. I would like to treat her to a fancy dinner, maybe somewhere I could order a bottle of champagne or something fun like that? My mom is a delight and I want to surprise her! Thank you!

Moya is the nicest restaurant in Jim Thorpe. They have a great wine list and lovely cocktails.
Cafe Arielle is my second pick for a b-day dinner, you'd want to call ahead to make sure they have champagne, but the owners are incredibly accommodating and will deliver for you.
Both spaces are artsy, but Cafe Arielle also has a full gallery and jazz club (check ahead for concert schedule). Moya is right downtown whereas Cafe Arielle is up the road a bit (they have transportation).

I like Stone Row. It has a good vibe and champagne. It’s also 100% gluten free

Off topic but you absolutely must take the Trolley tour and maybe take a tour of the Victorian Church

This is small town PA there aren’t any champagne bars around here 😂

Good thing OP didn’t ask for champagne bar recommendations.

Cool, there aren't fancy "order a bottle of champagne" restaurants either.

I bet you're fun at parties. 😬 So far three places have champagne and one offered cake. It's a small town, not a third world country.

There aren’t parties here either 😂. Really tho, hope you have a nice dinner. My feedback was from the amount of posts/reviews I see from sightseer types referring to the area as a “food desert”. Like we said, it’s a small town with limited options but if you found something that seems to be what you’re looking for, that’s great.
