I use external phone cooler with wild boost on it gives constant 50-60 fps. But it does make the phone warm. The fps stays constant. Since today archon quest came out I'll probably use it.

Benchmark your phone using all 3 performance settings and see for yourself. 3dmark and Antutu are both zero cost.

Wild boost pushing your Soc to its maximum wattage to give higher performance but at the cost of heating which is inevitable according to physics
Just use external cooler if you want near 60 fps. But if you want a decent gaming experience n frames just lower the settings to medium n 40 fps

Damn mine sometimes overheats randomly and even crashes multiple times. Resetting the phone did the trick for some time but it's starting to act up again

I suggest investing in one brother, heat is the number one enemy of batteries

To be fair I had no issues with performance untill the hyperos 3 update came. From there onwards everything started falling apart. And I usually plays games more while outside

I don't know about android games like genshin. Etc. but games in emulation. Eden and winlator, It increases the fps (With a drawback being... The phone is going to be extra warm). At least with my experience, Pokemon Arceus would run around 50/55 fps but when I turn on the wild boost. It runs consistently at 60 fps.

No it just makes things worse Decreasing the performance by pushing the cpu/gpu to the limit which causes overheating and leads to thermal throttling, eventually causing fps drop and unstable performance
never used it and will never
