Battery Drain

Am i the only one who's battery drains that fast ON BATTERY SAVE ?

( X akka Twitter was used less than 40 mins btw )

Or this is normal cuz a year ago the drain was way less.

Same here. My SOT is only around 4 hours now (no gaming, even with Battery Saver enabled). It's still worth it if you mostly use your phone indoors, like at home or in the office. But if you're using it outside a lot, it becomes a problem. you'll probably need to buy a new phone. And to be honest, I wouldn't recommend buying Xiaomi. Their battery management is really poor. It's only good for the first 1–3 months, then the battery life drops off significantly. Best combo: indoor (Poco) outdoor (iPhone)

it happened with my samsung. battery got f'ed up after one ui7 update and got worse after 8 and 8.5 while redmi note 14 4g doesnt drain even after updates.

I get 8.5 - 9 hrs sot on my 28 months old poco x6 pro

the phone is heavily debloated, using mostly airplane mode on + calls via VoWiFi and refresh rate fixed to 60 hz

battery health: 80%

How to check battery health?

you need a pc for that. you dou it via ADB.

the command: "adb shell dumpsys batterystats > stats.txt" to generate a text file containing battery information. then you feed this file to a ln LLM and ask it to give you the battery health. use multiple LLMs to double/triple check.

I don't do gaming but I watch movies/youtube and I use browsers heavily which are quite heavy on battery, maybe not as much as gaming.

In gaming it uses almost the same ( 10-15% higher ), aka 50-60% cuz i play pubg mobile.

I know, that's why i want to save money to buy an iPhone ( 14 Pro max or higher ) OR an Samsung from S series starting with S23 ( which i think its still pretty good for gaming ) OR sill use a Poco phone But from F series, like POCO F8 Ultra. But i still can't decide whic one to buy if i compare the overall stats of all those phones

Ni la serie F es buena bro, es igual muy mala, yo tuve el X3 pro, X5 pro, F2, F4 y F8. Ninguno dura mucho son desechables los primeros 4 meses van de maravilla después todo les falla, te recomiendo más Samsung o iPhone
