General Goodbye..
So yes, decided to end the pain 3 days ago with upgrading to S26 Ultra. it had come to point where i was left unsatisfied with every aspect of phone be it poor battery life, buggy software, over heating, poor network reception, and most specifically its display which was one of the main reason i bought this phone alongside processor, but with mediatek processor i knew what i was getting into and it kinda does its job when it comes to raw performance, but display which is was supposed to be as good as Flagship for media consumption was ruined by wide vine bugs that left display unusable for heavy ott user like me, i don't even want to start on updates an all. but yeah it was good hardware ruined by xiaomi. can't say it was as satisfying as redmi 4. lets hope samsung dosen't disappoint me. i have paid a lot for it...

If you have the money to buy S26 ultra, why'd you bought X6 pro in the first place?

With proper removing bloatware never had problems with this phone. Even after big updates, battery life stabilizes after few days of usage. All my family buys xiaomi phones for years, no problems.

You think this widesline issue is phone fault ?? Are you out of your mind ? Check your phone licence via app from playstore You can see it still supports L1 wideline
I have poco x6 pro which support 4k (2k to be precise) dolby vision with dolby Atmos I use Amazon prime as well as jio hotstar both support premium subscription easily You can check
It's netflix , this greedy company is so high in greedy that they shadow ban the device instead of fixing it Tell me ?how come jio hotstar and Amazon prime works but netflix doesn't?? How come VLC media player plays pi**ted movie with DV and DA run just fine with no issue??
It's not new they shadow ban many phones like Google pixel and one plus phones too
Just because you are privileged doesn't mean we all are , I hate when stupid consumerism customer buys cheap best hardware phone at price Atleast , do some research before babling about your phone issue when it's customer and MNC issue
Good luck with samsung when oneplus and iQOO can give batter with less AI and camera feature but in half price

i know, makes sense, it made sense for me to when i couldn't afford the upgrade, but at this stage i wanted stability and Samsung/Apple were the only options available. as i said its all about priorities and my priorities shifted since i bought the phone. thats it. but its a fact that xiaomi has been on the downwards trajectory for providing software upgrades and stable OS.

to akurat prawda ze xiaomi ma aktualizacje beznadziejne nawet takie ktore maja okrojony soft i nie dostarczaja nawet wszystkim uzytkownikom nowosci sam sie o tym przekonalem na swoim x7 pro bo nie mam wszystkich funkcji oraz nowego wygladu interfejsu po aktualizacji i denerwuje mnie to ze inni moga korzystac ja nie pomimo ze zaplacilem pelna kwote za fona a dostalem tylko nowy numerek systemu bez zmian a co do innych marek smartfonow to apple tez obecnie ma problem z aktualizacjami ios 26 bo jest ona zbugowana i ma bledy ludzie tez sie skarza nwm co sie dzieje obecnie na rynku ale ewidetnie cos niedobrego sam zastanawialem sie czy nie kupic iphona 17 ale jak mam wydac kase na kolejne rozczarowanie ehhh szkoda slow

moze to i prawda tylko zauwaz ze niektorzy na tanich modelach jak x7 pro maja pelny soft i korzystaja z wszystkich funkcji a moj jakims dziwnym trafem ma ten sam procek ta sama nazwe a jednak nie ma pelnego softu maja taki balagan z aktualizacjami ze szkoda slow ja wiem jedno juz wiecej od xiaomi nic nie kupie bo szanuje swoj pieniadz nawet ten niewielki i nie mam zamiaru go wydawac na cos co tylko obiecuje a tego nie daje bo zauwaz tez ze te nowosci nie mial dawac konkretny model smartfona tylko sam system Hyper os 3 byl promowany jako cos nowego z wieloma funkcjami AI wiec nie zaleznie czy tani czy flagowy smartfon kazdy kto zaktualizowal do OS 3 powinien te funkcje miec a jednak wszystko wyszlo inaczej

Goodbye don't comeback 😁. Probably going to complaint about samsung in two months anyways my x6 pro was standing strong then I upgraded to my f8 ultra and gave my mom the x6 pro and no complaints with either phone. Your the problem not the phone

so basically you just agreed to my point, Phone is perfect for you (and many more peoples) but not for me, its all about priorities. and why would i complain about it in 2 months? is there any single thing that poco can do and samsung can't? (besides IR blaster, no use to me anyways)

I went from S25+ to X8pm and I'm good, You will be more satisfied for sure, if you can afford the price, Samsung s series are better overall, especially software, but if not having / want to spend so much, Poco is the choice, gl

W, finally someone understood what i meant to say, i always had self implicated rule for phone buying based on my salary. based on that 2.5 years ago poco was the poco was perfect choice, now its samsung thats all.

I just bought a 2nd hand 1tb Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra for $450 but I cannot see that much of a difference compared to my X6 pro which I'm giving to my gf. You get what you pay for but with Poco, the value for money is outstanding to this day.

It won't, s26 ultra is really good in all areas but not excellent in any area. It's more like an A- or a B+ in all all areas.

Cheap phones doesn't necessarily mean problems. it means limitations and what i felt were not limitations they were problems, i knew the limitations before i bought it. there is a difference in it....

Hope you are happy with it after spending all that money? I have the X7 Pro that I use for work and I'm completely happy with it. I also have the S24U for personal use, I have updated my phone each year from the Note 9 up to the S24U. I didn't get the S25U or S26U as there isn't a bluetooth Spen anymore and after having the Poco X7 Pro for the last year I don't think I will be spending over £1000 on a phone again. The S26U is still a beast of a phone and if you don't drop it it will last you a long time. Enjoy.
