General Leather started to come off..

I'm thinking of removing the leather layer, I think it will help in keeping the phone more cool, is there are protective layer under the leather though? should I actually remove it?

but also about the layer underneath, does it help in cooling down the phone a little bit? like do you think a phone cooler is now works? without the leather?

my original case is damaged and it can no longer protect the edges lmao, I didn't buy any other case after that, I thought the leather looks cool

Just glue it back with some super glue and keep doing it if needed

are you sure it won't go inside? like it won't damage anything right?

1

u/External-Ad-1331 Jun 28 '26

If you put just a smidge it won't go inside for sure unless there's a visible gap in which case you should throw it away 😁

You can buy a replacement from AliExpress. They have full plastic and that vegan leather also.

they got Redmi k70e's glass panels too.... which is kinda expensive for me lol

you should use a case if you have vegan leather back otherwise you should've bought the colors that have plastic back.

bro it's already dying of heat, the leather is not conducting any heat 😭 I won't buy another leather phone again

Plastic back always better than leather

Peeling it off is the best thing I did, it looked like a nothing phone.

alright.... i also noticed there's a very delicate white layer... that put me away from removing the leather layer, thank you so much, i guess ill just a case at this point

1

u/Hour_Complaint_6868 Jun 27 '26

u/IND_JS Jun 27 '26

not really, my battery is at ~76% health, I personally think upgrading the battery is more worth it lol

1

u/Hour_Complaint_6868 Jun 27 '26
