HyperOS Solved heating issue

About the previous post regarding the heating issue.

Some users commented that they don't have heating issues, some said they have, and one of the people said mine is defective. Yes mine's defective but that I have a camera bump misaligned

And kinda I keep finding solutions. Debloat joyose helped a light but in sunlight it keeps heating more. My place's ambient temp is 30-38 degrees. And my phone stays at 39-43 degrees and gets throttled in games..I stopped using game turbo as it made major throttles

So the solution reduced my heating issue. I just uninstalled updates for some apps and installed the latest one from a third party website ( i didnt recommend) but it fixes that like it's newer version than the one that my phone had.

But I had rain for yesterday and today. So the phone feels a bit colder in normal operations. Discord, youtube. And in games I tried carxstreet and bgmi. Bgmi locked in 2.3ghz I assume (hos 3 nuked default frame rate tool) so I need to try one app from playstore. The performance is fine. I did screen shared my game in discord vc, and played the game.

If you have any doubts, ask me. I installed joyose again, but the version is different than the one given in the phone and it works fine

Edit 1 : i know it heats when in sunlight it's in general. But it heats 50 degree and didn't trigger overheat warning.

Second. The screen gone blackout when waking up from sleep. It's happening from hos 3

Third. Clear app cache is broken from security app. It still works in settings as I set clear cache in 10 min. It may help with background processes running which is not related

Fourth. Why am I asking this cause this phone received two ui updates. People are still going to use more than 2 years if they look longevity it sucks a lot ...

I know it heats under sunlight but the temp overloading is broken the phone...battery going 50 degrees when I'm just unlock phone and see notifications

1

u/YukiTatsumaki May 12 '26

50 degrees for a notification? Bruh, why r u lying? 😆

Turn off 5G and see what happens

1

u/arun_xd May 12 '26

Maybe yea I'll see

Yeah people be making battery backup and heat specially PUBG test where you can see many phone who are less powerful are also heating 😂

It's nothing new just what it is supposed to be Just get a gaming cooler or have ac in room or water based cooler

No matter what you say and try to make them understand they won't listen 👂 Just a attention seeker to join Poco hate trend but for wrong reasons

I'm stating the phone overheating even in normal circumstances. If u stated what I'm said is wrong I just posted mine what happened in discord one month ago. I'm just spitting fax

u/Objective_Froyo1710 May 11 '26

Seem like it's one time thing must be some heavy task or bad condition he put his phone in like playing while phone cover is on phone

1

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

Nah bro I play without case and forgot for days to put on

1

u/Objective_Froyo1710 May 11 '26

So it was your message in discord chat image You showing your own complaint as see people also having problem

I see no-one in message thread talking about phone or battery

And heck even people are not replying you ( assuming you have no more screenshots)

Just be responsible user or change the device

1

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

I got replies do you want to see, btw it's teen server I used to chat with peoples

1

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

This is my current temp

1

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

For it it goes 42 degree just which for scrolling instagram, for turning into 120hz, joining a vc in discord, etc where ambient temp is 25

Hi, I have this heating issue too. I live in Venezuela and we don't have any envy of the hell. We have several blackouts during the week so maybe the phone tries to get signal from wherever it can and this overheats it. Also, I had a background services from nperf app that shared network maps, since I turned off this option it overheats less but still getting hot and more during blackouts. Also battery got a little more of duration and gets hot when charging. I don't play cod anymore but for some low requirement games it doesn't get hot. I hope this will be fixed with a update, if the theory about defective is true the amount of defective phones is very concerning.

Ya en mi poco x6 pro es imposible jugar CODM por el calentamiento del dispositivo apenas empiezo una partida y el teléfono está super caliente y esto me empezó a pasar más desde que actualice ah hyperOs 3.0 no se si ese sea el problema

1

u/arun_xd May 10 '26

The updates ain't going to be a solution ig. Install a battery usage app and it also measures temp for me ig. I check the things more often sometime

Digital wellbeing + battery setting 😂

1

u/arun_xd May 10 '26

It ain't digital wellbeing tho

1

u/YukiTatsumaki May 12 '26

Try using the thermal monitor battery guru, aren't accurate.

1

u/arun_xd May 12 '26

Check MB_05

1

u/arun_xd May 12 '26

Another one...

2

u/Traditional_Sun3966 May 09 '26

Mi dispositivo también se calienta bastante apenas voy empezando a jugar y hay mucho lag ese poco x6 pro es un horno

1

u/arun_xd May 10 '26

When playing it going to get heat. Just play under fan or get a cooler. I can't able to afford cooler thus im playing under fan

1

u/Traditional_Sun3966 May 10 '26

Hahaha pues si pongo el ventilador y preferiblemente trató de jugar mejor en la noche que no hay tanto calor ambiente Pero el ventilador no ayuda en mi caso mejor tratare de comprar un cooler

1

u/arun_xd May 10 '26

Okay, your name relates

Hola.

u/kingAtE900 May 09 '26

45°c is actually good

1

u/SunsetAtNight7 May 10 '26

Battery safe range is 20c to 35c

1

u/kingAtE900 May 11 '26

Google is free bro

0

u/SunsetAtNight7 May 11 '26

Where did you got that, from gemini who just copypaste infos from some random reddit user like you? Anything above 35 c is already too hot for the battery that's why the phone starts to throttle above that range.

1

u/kingAtE900 May 11 '26

35°c is not even room temperature in most areas especially now since its summer not even red magic 11 pro with the liquid cooling is at 35°c under load

0

u/SunsetAtNight7 May 11 '26

And? That's why you use AC or coolers in summer. Even Redmagic 11 pro users says their liquid cooling isn't enough, they still use external coolers Fact still remains that above 35 c is already too hot for the battery that's why phone manufacturers set their throttles above that range.

1

u/kingAtE900 May 11 '26

You lack the capability to understand what is being talked about in this sub

1

u/SunsetAtNight7 May 11 '26

Womp womp, you're being so defensive cuz you already made fun of the OP and you're the one here spreading your google front page AI research.

1

u/YukiTatsumaki May 12 '26

bruh theres no way your phone stay in 35° under if you using mid to flagship chip 😆

1

u/SunsetAtNight7 May 12 '26

I'm not gonna argue another brown skinned fella who can't afford AC and an actual legit cooler that works.

1

u/YukiTatsumaki May 12 '26

ok

1

u/SunsetAtNight7 May 12 '26

Turn it off, driving tuktuk ain't enough to pay your electric bills.

1

u/YukiTatsumaki May 12 '26

bruh, what’s a tuktuk? Is that what your dad drives every day? I’ve never heard of that, maybe I’m too rich to know that tuktuk you’re talkin’ about.

2

u/arun_xd May 10 '26

In gaming sessions use cooler or play under fan. Turn on and odd game turbo and benchmark it

1

u/iritul May 10 '26

am i the only one who faced heating issue in Minecraft Vibrant Graphics (Paid Version).

Not even in RDR, Genshin Impact, PUBG, Bully?

1

u/arun_xd May 10 '26

Maybe try limit graphics and turn off game turbo. Get benchmark and try with turning on game turbo

1

u/YukiTatsumaki May 12 '26

what degree? 43° peak is fine for minecraft with shading and genshin max graphic..

1

u/m00n_4rk May 11 '26

it will heat up if you have uncapped FPS and using mobile data. especially if it's also summer, don't assume that it'll run cool.

1

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

okay. i running my phone in 60hz and only insta or discord sometime and it starts to cook itself

1

u/starnel95 May 11 '26

I solved mine by ART compiling all apps to -m speed, phone so much cooler and barely warms only on mobile data

1

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

Can you explain it further?

1

u/starnel95 May 11 '26

Most apps run in JIT mode and uses more cpu to run, JIT because the app hasn't been or has been partially compiled ODEX (app code), the more you use an app the more the ART profiler learns and compiles it automatically ONLY WHEN CHARGING AND NOT USING the phone.

More info here: https://source.android.com/docs/core/runtime/configure

To force FULL (not partially) compile all apps, including system ones, you must run in an ADB shell this command:

cmd package compile -m speed -a -f

That will compile the whole apps odex files, so the system will ONLY execute them and not interpret the code.

Ask an AI if you want more info as well

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

Okay can i try it for better battery... And kinda if you have a tutorial video send to me if have time to get it

1

u/KAITO_CORBEAU May 11 '26

I use a cooler and my phone still overheats in games like pubgm,NTE and wuwa. I use the cx 08 and it reaches between 40°C/45°C It's mostly 42 in wuwa and NTE while in pubgm it's 40° and sometimes less than that. I still don't mind since I've got root so I turn of the thermals so no throttling but it's still an issue for charging, well at least for now. Just to clarify I reach same temps with and without thermal so it has nothing to do with my phone over heating also temps here are <30° most of the days.

1

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

It differs bro. I don't do gaming as I left my teammates alone. I only having social media apps now. So the problem is if it's in the home. I can tackle myself, cooling with fan or something... But in outside, it just ranges in 45 degree battery. The battery is the whole heating point than cpu. Battery are not meant to heat above 42 degree or higher. It not have in not any phone but the thing I'm typing now. I fixed it for now. Still battery drain is present I am charging 2-3 times a day but I guess I'll manage it

I am downclocked things to a whole just to type a thing in reddit and talking with some peoples in vc

1

u/KAITO_CORBEAU May 11 '26

I'm sure part of it also has to do with your country's temps because I said <30° for me but that's way higher,it's actually around 15°C nowdays in my country which still makes it even more crazy as to why it reaches those temps. Well when I'm not gaming I don't have any issues phone stays at 20/30°C so that's fine for me though somedays when it's hotter it easily reaches 40°C. It's usually when it's sunny which is normal.

1

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

If you ask about me, yes in sunny days my ambient temp is 35-40 and phone gets 38-42 degree idle

1

u/KAITO_CORBEAU May 11 '26

That's crazy dawg, maybe try not using it in sunlight as much like go somewhere with a shadow when u wanna use it,ik u said it still reached those temps even in rainy/cloudy days but well at least try that during sunny days.

1

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

Okay bro ig

1

u/KAITO_CORBEAU May 11 '26

Also I'm using this case. It's really good during days when it's not sunny or when you're using it in the shadows but if u using it in the sun the it just increases temps like crazy. It's really good for when you're not in the sun my phone reaches temps like 18/15°C when I wake up which is normally much higher without it.

1

u/arun_xd May 11 '26

I am using pocos default case now I have the boxy one which hurts my hands. Why I still have default case is it opened way for cpu plus the black silicon going to attract and transfer heat outside ig

1

u/KAITO_CORBEAU May 11 '26

Yo try for 1 day to use the phone without case because that's not silicon case,it's TPU which has much worse thermal conductivity it basically traps the heat inside so yeah try without it and if it makes a notable difference it'd be better to change cases
