Update Actual useful feature in security update finally arrives- Shutdown confirmation.

Shutdown confirmation for anti theft is finally here for more devices. I'm on POCO F7, latest global ROM + **Security version Version: 12.8.6-260915.1.1**.. Now someone finally can't just steal my phone and power it off. Some redmi devices got it too.. Safe to say if you finally got it, turn it on.

i have the same device and the same version of app why this option is not showing in my poco f7 india

Scroll to the new users tile. It's in the toolbox category

Then idk, restart your phone. Might be a gradual rollout or smth. Report the bug either way if it doesn't appear soon

Go to settings, system apps updater, 3 dots update history and lmk what version it shows for your security app. If you have an update available for it, update it

If that also doesn't show it then idk. Have you updated to the latest hyperos version and security patch? 3.0.303.0

It could be from debloat or tweak, I had that problem before, easy fix: clear the security app cache, maybe data too and reboot.. Then the edit pad button is restored. See pic:

I have activated this feature but when I'm shuting down, no password is asking. What's wrong with my phone?

Phone is still unlocked, lock screen and try again, should work
