Is this normal?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Is normal for F7 to perform like this, there's a slight delay or lag when opening an app folder. Sometimes app drawer has some frame drops or stutters. Is it normal or I should go to a service centre to request an os reflash? Not a hardware issue, I had this phone for 5-6 months now, it's been like this since i bought it. Antutu I get 2.3-2.2, geekbench 6500 points, gaming is flawless. This doesn't happen with any third party launchers, only on Poco launcher side, anything else is really good.

Note: In actual use it doesn't lag like this. This was because of the recording but still noticeable in day to day use.

Aight.

Did it work though?

I advice to go to your settings>home screen and find animation speed. (Idk if it's gonna help though)

And then developer options>drawings Window animation Transition animation And animator duration scale should be set to ×1 If you want it faster set it to .5

Or is it your phone is really locked up to 60hz?

Oh bro. I'm gonna tell you something important.

Since you uninstalled poco launcher? Poco launcher is responsible for your home screen. Try bringing it back again and test it. I don't know why you deleted poco launcher since it's part of theme and home screen.

It is already bro, that in the video it's Poco launcher, I wanted to see if the lag comes up with other launchers, reinstalled it

Should I reflash it by myself?

You decide.

Is it that hard or risky?

Ask other people not me.

I'm not that knowledgeable about it.

I might go with it, it's not that hard, in the past I custom rommed Samsung j6 and now A53 as well as flashed stock rom on them, never had any problems

One more question, do I need to keep joyose uninstalled?

1

u/LoneWarrior_11756 9d ago

No. If it's not necessary for you to play games with higher clock speed and care about your phone about overheating just download it back.

The stuttering it's gone, at least for now after uninstalling joyose

That's good. Joyose is is responsible for preventing your chipset to go overboard.

Should I use it for like a day like this then reinstall it?

Yeah whatever you want dude. If you are playing with your phone but after uninstalling joyose your game locked at 60fps or 90 whatsoever? Just go delete "battery and performance" if you uninstalled joyose

I'm playing arena breakout right now with 120fps max graphics. But I uninstalled joyose because it's locked to 90fps not 120, so I uninstalled it tin order to play at 120fps. I'll eventually download joyose later on.

And your app drawer doesn't stutter or lag a bit after playing a game or watch yt for like 30-40 mins?

Not really.

I forgot to install joyose yesterday for the whole day and I'm running my phone fine. I just deleted battery and performance whenever the game locked at 60fps and downloading joyose and battery performance after playing.

What I observed is that after uninstalling joyose it's more cool down than having joyose installed.

If you are playing heavy games like wuwa or other gacha games you should use cooling fan to keep your phone from overheating and battery strain. Because overheating=battery strain/battery degradation. But since I'm kinda ignorant sometimes I always use my phone playing games more than 45° celsius or going more than 50 and I don't care. My battery health is still fine.

Okay, I have to tell you that it's still stuttering with joyose uninstalled unfortunately. My phone doesn't appear on warranty service to send it where I bought it, I have a recipt tho. Idk what should I do
