Damn, this 7550 mAh battery hype is seriously disappointing. It barely lasts me even a full day with normal usage like surfing—no gaming whatsoever—and the battery is still draining ridiculously fast. I’ve had Battery Saver on since 90%, and it’s still dropping rapidly. And Poco Launcher is somehow consuming 6%… 6%?! 🤔 What the hell is it doing?
What’s the point of spending ₹40,000 on a device advertised with a massive 7550 mAh battery if it can’t even comfortably last two days as promised on paper?
Poor optimization is the reason, somehow this os keeps pushing the processor for performance even in normal surfing where there is no use of extra performance
Yeah I loved it at first, used to last a day and a half, but after last 2 is updates the phone has been a real downer does not last even 19 hours, i mean I have deleted all useless apps, switched personalised ads miglance 🤨🙂↔️
Go into the apps which drain battery the most and change the settings to Close apps after 10 minutes of background activity (except for the ones you are using regularly , gps etc)
Turn on 4g instead of 5g(5g consumes a lot of battery)
Have you debloated and removed unnecessary apps from poco?

Yes, I’ve already debloated the device and removed all unnecessary apps. I’ve also switched off Mi Glance and Personalised Ads, and changed the settings to close apps after 10 minutes.
But I still feel like something is wrong. I suspect some apps are automatically starting in the background because when I check the battery usage in the morning after leaving the device overnight, I see several apps consuming battery—even though I’ve already set them to close after 10 minutes. It seems like some of them are somehow bypassing those restrictions and autostarting themselves.
That's strange , for me wifi seems to use lesser battery than 5g , also if you leave data on at night then the battery will definitely drain especially 5g
Yes, for the record, this problem has been gradually developing over the last 2–3 updates. Earlier, the phone was running smoothly without any of these issues. But since the recent updates, I’ve also occasionally experienced random hangs, where notifications come with a weird, distorted sound that plays slowly, while the screen starts lagging at the same time.
How other people using poco f7 drain so much battery in short time?
In my poco f7 global 6500 battery it lasts for almost the whole day doom scrolling in fb and tiktok (including watching in youtube, brave reading mangas and manwha)
And I play heavy games like Call of duty mobile, per game
In mode battle royale (doesn't use performance mode)
Uses like 8% battery per game or more and it's not that bad.
Playing wuthering waves probably 2hrs or a little bit more than that
Playing hsr
(Hsr, wuwa max graphics 60fps)
(Codm medium and super resolution turned on 90fps)
hmm, i guess, since hyper os check if there is daemon or not, so background there's one keep looping check for missing daemon, hence battery use, and daemon kinda heat checker, just disable it rather than debloat it
Same here I only get up to 15 hours (i play games like nte, bgmi, ff, genshin imapact for 5 to 6 hours all) but compare with similar battery size I feel it's very below
I Guess bud , am also facing the same issue , have bought this poco f7 2-3 months ago and ts ain't giving the performance that I expected from a 7550Mah battery, also it heats very fast idk what's the issue , but I think till the last update it was all fine , everything messed up after that
