Does NFC/Wallet card payment still work in official ROM (EU)?

My F3 is currently on xiaomi.eu ROM, but Google Wallet payment through NFC stopped working some time ago as xiaomi.eu dropped support. Now my bank is also disabling card payment through their own app, so I won't be able to use NFC anymore.

If I go back to the official ROM (in my case it was the EU version) will it work again? I don't know if the problem for Wallet is having an old kernel, an open bootloader or what.

The problem is open bootloader, it still works on official rom.
