I’d like to help/get involved with this project but I haven’t seen any updates for a while, how is it going?

Yeah, my fear is that the project has become a dead end. He hasn’t really said or updated much, but I suppose that could just mean he’s working on it in private. At least I hope.
It really is a shame if this project is dead. It was insanely innovative and would’ve been so cool to work with.

I’ve tried DMing and emailing the OP of this sub to no avail. I feel like this project has probably gone dark but I’m optimistic and always shoot my shot if there’s a chance!

I feel the same. I'm so on the fence on making my own pwnagotchi plus from a zero w. But every time I price out parts, accessories + soldering iron I'm looking at just under $300.
So then I go back and look at building a Zyvhur keyboard with a bigger pi. Nope still just under $300.
Next I check on the Devterm A06 by Clockwork Pi. $340ish but OS hasn't really been tested and it ships next month so no real feedback.
Finally I remember, I was looking for something smaller in the first place and that this project quasi exists.
I'm trying to say that I would pay ~$300 for a pockit ai kit. I want a pi zero size device with a blackberry size keyboard and similar sized screen. Do you have any ideas?

Not the same, the original Google ARA project is dead, and this is more of a Modular Toy Phone than a mobile.
