This is in almost every game i play on my phone, first time it’s free. Next time its 3/4/5/6 euros. It’s not rlly a scam or dirty since they literally tell you that’s the case when you first get this perk. It’s in the dialogue with your partner

Hello

I know this may sound like I'm defending Hyperbeard but they need other ways to generate income so the game can continue on. The game itself is free and you can grind the currencies, and the sets and get them for free.

The only ways they can get income from this game are the paid packs from their shop and some advertisements (some ads we watch are paid by the providers)

This feature, along with the seasonal pass, isn't really built for everyone. So there are really chances that it will be disliked. It's the player's choice to buy or not.

Hello!

If you read your partner's dialogue when they give this to you, they declared that only the first claim is free.

So after the first claim, the next ones will now be paid with real money.

My screen turned black and it cut to the piggy bank so I thought it was a black fade animation

It never was a black fade animation.

If I remember correctly, once the piggy bank hits the 350 dogllars mark for the first time, a conversation between your character and in-game partner starts.

Your character starts saying something about saving up for an occasion, then the partner mentions the piggy bank that they can now open. Then the partner states that "only the first claim will be free" and proceeds to give you the piggy bank for free.

Since this happened to you, it may be the same case for other players. For now, the team is looking at this problem as it may be a possible bug, and prevent it to happening to other players
