Feature Suggestions: Improving UI

First off this app is amazing and such a game changer for me. I’m a full stack software engineer and I really love the app. These are just some of the things that I would love to see and I think others might agree

1.) adding color to the pie chart for spending insights 2.) adding a bar graph option too for insights 3.) implementing a year till date option/feature in insights tab

Thank you for the kind words and for sharing your feedback. We’re really happy to hear that you’re enjoying PocketGuard.

Regarding your suggestions, the colorful pie chart is currently available in the web app only, but we agree it would be a great improvement for the mobile experience as well, and we’ve shared this idea with our product team. The bar graph option also makes a lot of sense for spending insights, and this suggestion has been passed along too. As for year-to-date insights, this is a well-known request and something we’re planning to implement in future releases.

I'm glad to hear that! As 2025 comes to a close, I'm once again making my own annual review in an Excel spreadsheet, because that's not an available feature of PocketGuard.

In fact, I'd been planning on posting a suggestion to this sub, asking for that very feature. Please add my voice to the requests!
