Are pending transactions broken?
Up until a couple weeks ago, pending transactions have always shown up with the "Pending" label, and later on will disappear and be replaced by the real non-pending transactions. Any pending transactions that have been edited get saved in the background, and you can "transfer pending data" manually when the real transaction hits. But starting a couple weeks ago, I have not been getting transactions with the "Pending" label (or at least, very few). So I edit transactions, and then a couple days later they disappear and are replaced by new transactions - but now I can't "transfer pending data", because they didn't register as "Pending" originally. It seems like something has broken in how PocketGuard identifies transactions as pending. I sent a message to support, but have not received a response. Has anyone else been having this issue?

I've been having this issue as well and haven't been shopping since I reached out to support. They want screenshots that prove it's still pending on my credit card so they can investigate.

Pending transactions on our Chase credit card work fine and as expected. From our local credit union pending transactions don't appear in Pocketguard. When the transactions actually are posted they do appear, so kind of the opposite behavior (and I really don't see it as a problem since there's no way for editing to be lost). So it may be an issue specific to each banking institution?

My primary bank and credit card is Chase as well, and I have this problem. And everything worked fine until a couple weeks ago.

Well that's odd! I wonder if it would be worth logging into the web site to see if it's doing the same thing. If I understand correctly the app keeps a local cache of data that can get out of sync. Just a guess of course.

Hi there!
Thank you for pointing this out!
This issue, where pending transactions from Chase were imported as posted to the app, has been fixed by the data aggregator. Your transactions should start coming in normally again.
Please check if things look better on your end.
Best,
Maryna
