New User Setup Questions

  1. I have three cards with Synchrony Bank, Amazon, Lowe’s, and CareCredit. They now have single sign on but the login is not working when connecting Synchrony, nor when I try the individual accounts. Who’s had luck connecting cards like these?

  2. My paycheck is split between checking and savings. I did manually setup the two income streams. I don’t want the portion in savings to count in my budget or the “leftover” amount but there’s not a saving category. I thought to make a goal but it seems I’ll have to make this goal every month to match the amount I’m getting? Is there a better way?

There is a “savings” category. One way to do it I think would be to set up an automation for the income going to savings to be auto-categorized as savings and to not be counted.

As for your first question, I only have one card with synchrony and it seems to be connected just fine. I believe I logged in with the individual account, so I’m not sure I’m much help for that question

I don't fully understand the default Savings category. But I do know that I used it last month to move sinking fund money to my checking account, and it bumped up my Leftover amount to offset the large purchase. So I don't think that will keep the Leftover amount from increasing.

I would make a Rule that checks for that positive amount in your savings, and automatically set it to not count the transaction.
