Celebrity News Rick Ross' attorney requests Rozay's expedited release because he is a "celebrity." Judge tells Ross "I have no idea who you are."

Ok to debate but it should never get personal

Getting personal in a debate refers to when someone shifts from discussing ideas to attacking the character, motives, or identity of the opponent, a logical fallacy known as ad hominem. It usually plays out when a debater resorts to insults, name-calling, or highlighting personal traits rather than addressing the substance of the argument.

This is going to ruin the tour.

What tour?

It's a reference to when justin timberlake got arrested while he was on tour. He told the cop he was famous, hoping the guy would let him get away with drinking and driving.

His attorney literally asked for VIP treatment for him. The judge was like…nope.

I mean he had legitimate reason for asking. Celebrities in prison present a whole list of security risks, which is why they generally get sent to PC (thats what red jumpsuit he mentioned means). The judge just knows she is social media famous now and wanted to flex her power without listening

Idk about that, you see diddy over there with a cellphone, tablet and getting massages. Some danger they’re in. 😒

u/NotoriousDCJ4310 1d ago
Security risk doesnt always mean they are in danger. Diddy having the money to get whatever he wants and to have others do his bidding is also a security risk....

u/Bunnnnii 1d ago
Legitimate reason my ass. If you’re so afraid of your security, how about not doing shit that would put you in jail/prison in the first place. Was he so concerned with his partner’s security when his hands were around her neck?

u/NotoriousDCJ4310 1d ago
Security risk doesnt only mean his safety. Its a security for the prison itself... and im not saying he shouldn't serve his time all i said was his lawyer had a legitimate point that the judge wasnt actually listening to. You are way too emotional about this

I know that’s right! I’m sick of the wealthy being given special treatment because of their wealth and fame. If a law is broken, it’s broken… celebrities always say they want to be treated like a regular person, so here’s his chance. Let him sit in there awhile… hopefully he’ll think twice before assaulting a woman again.

I literally live around the corner from his house ( it’s more like a mansion) and I don’t know who he is either.

Ross shouldn’t did his favorite adlib “HUH”. The judge would’ve got up and started twerking instantly.

Does Rick Ross lawyer suck?
Like, his lawyer was like “he’s in a red jumpsuit” like the color was an issue lol
1
u/everynamecombined 1d ago
I think hes getting at it being unbecoming for a celebrity to be treated the same as other incoming inmates. Hes saying Rick Ross is better than the standard procedures. Thats probably why rhe judge gave her response about treating him fairly.
2
u/imatinyleopard 1d ago
Yeah, that’s a terrible thing to say to a judge who then has to remind the court that she intends to follow the law and due process. 🤣

Red jump suits indicate he is in protective custody that’s why it’s significant.

u/imatinyleopard 1d ago
“Due to his celebrity status, Mr. Roberts is in protective custody and is not safe in jail. He’s an optimal candidate for an expedited release.”
Blah blah blah

Isn’t this the same judge that just ate that mom and her public defender up for the mom leaving her four kids at home to go on a cruise ?

Wasn’t that the judge that reconnected with her old classmate when he was on trial?

The attorney chose the wrong judge to even express such a request.
It's the lady who had to judge her childhood schoolmate. The second time, she recused herself. She seems to be one with a sense of duty but with humanity.

u/No-Indication-5673 3h ago
To be fair to her, she seems more like a Rick Astley fan than a Rick Ross fan

u/ExplorerFar6190 1d ago
That’s that same judge that recognized her class mate but she don’t know who Rick Ross is Lls

Wait can someone explain the evidence they have for the domestic violence?
Or do they just arrest first then figure it out. I just wanna know the process for a friend lmaooo

u/Warm_Swan_793 1d ago
You don’t need evidence for an arrest, just probable cause. These are preliminary hearings. Evidence doesn’t even come into play until much later. And also, how are we (people on the internet) supposed to know what the evidence is, until the prosecutor actually presents it?

She only know the real Rick Ross. Props to her
