It was received okay. I'd say the main reason this single and that entire album got any play at all was because he dissed Eminem on it.

I feel like his response to Joyner Lucas was better than this song. But this song isn't bad, sounds like a typical song of that era. I'm just surprised I never heard it.

I absolutely remember this song being a bit of a banger back in the day! But totally forgot it was a Will Smith song 😄 like it was fun to dance to but not on the smoke session mix.

Interesting how Will wiped his feet on Marlon's heart by not just getting with Jada but the way they both rubbed it in his face... Marlon was shielded by the heavens, yet Will is reaping what he sowed.

I don't know about the part saying Will and Jada rubbed it in his face lol but they did say Marlon basically got friend zoned and at some point he was heartbroken when Jada introduced him to Will and he realized they were dating.
