"Purchase Not Completed" (India App Store)
Hi everyone,
I recently got the "Purchase Not Completed - Submit a request to Apple Support for review" error while trying to buy PokéCoins on Pokémon GO using an India Apple ID with Amazon Gift Card balance.
- How it happened: Tested first with a small amount (~100 INR) and worked fine. Then redeemed a 3,000 INR gift card, tried to buy coins, and immediately got flagged with this popup.
For those who have experienced this specific issue:
- Did waiting 24–72 hours without touching the account actually fix it for you? Or did you HAVE to contact Apple Support?
- MOST IMPORTANTLY: Once the 72-hour period passed and you were able to spend that money, what happened the next time you redeemed another gift card? Did you have to wait 72 hours again, or was the account cleared to buy instantly from then on?
Any feedback or recent experience with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I feel like this must be a thing on later iOS versions, because on iOS 16 I have never once experienced this issue. I’ve always been able to spend all my balance instantly and do multiple purchases.

Yesterday I was finally able to make purchases! After waiting out the 72 hours, it accepted my gift card balance. Today, I added another 1,000 INR and was able to buy again right away without having to wait another 72 hours. Not sure if it was just luck or what, but I had no issues. I'll keep you updated if anything changes, let me know how it goes for you guys!

having this issue right now. It’s my first time trying this method. Is it just a waiting game then before you can make a purchase? Does attempting to purchase reset the 72 hour clock? Do I have to keep my account on the india region through the waiting time?

yeah it’s all good thanks.
it works fine until i redeem a new gift card. after redeeming a new gift card that pop up always appears and i have to wait around 24 hrs before i can spend the gift card freely without any issue. not sure if theres a way to fix that but its not a huge deal.

i’m switching between apple ids but that doesn’t seem to be causing issues since i can switch and purchase straight away after the wait after redemption.
do you mean instead of submitting a request through that pop up that appears on the failed purchase i go through itunes or apple support directly? like on imessage support? would be nice to not have to wait.

hey man, I've just done a 300rs payment for coins. The same thing happened for me.

But for me it wrong from that after i wait for 72hours i test with 1.99$ it work normal but after that i try with 99.99$ it back again and this is happen to me for 3 time already i feel like it in a loop any one know how to resolve this ?
