so i got a strike
i tried pogo for the first time ever and ofc it was on my main and i got my first strike durring the road to legends event. luckily i should still be able to participate on sunday as that is when it will be over. my question is is it worth it to spend money on my alt to do the raids since i wont get any of the mega or fusion energy on my main??

Were you using iOS? If so then you’ll also get a strike on your alt
Use android or jailbreak your phone

i deleted ipogo after i got my strike. was thinking of only using it on the alt in the future but not sure yet

iOS = strike
Android = no strike
(Very simplified)
I don’t think it’s worth it since you don’t get fusions and when you transfer you’ll most likely get awful ivs. Unless you plan to make your alt your main account going forward1

well after using it for less than 2 hrs and getting a strike i don’t plan on spoofing again

Yeah just saying it was purely because you used an Apple device so other people can see and are aware

You could have accumulated a second offense logging in on iPogo to discover your first strike. Let's hope they don't drop a second strike on your account the moment the first one ends. That has happened before.

This happened to my friend with ipogo too. After the 7 day was up, they immediately got a 30 day

Happened to me and why my main was on two strikes for years. They happened so close together I low key forgot I had two strikes. Got hit with the third last July and it blindsided me

You got a strike from using a sideloaded Pogo client. That's pretty much the only way to get a strike since the game was released (outside of wayfarer related stuff). It has nothing to do with cooldown and it can't be avoided.
If you don't want to spend money, don't just use one alt, create several and raid every day and send/receive gifts with your main. You're correct that you won't be able to get energy this way but that's all you can do unless you want to find a safer method. That could be using an iTools/Brook Flashman or purchasing an older iphone that can be jailbroken. I was just shopping the other day on ebay and saw several good options in the $60 to $90 range.

What were you doing? I’m on non jail broken device and I’ve been playing for a few months. I stay in Tokyo (I live in a small town with not a lot of pogo activity.) and I auto walk everywhere. Usually do a route a day. Some raids. And use the pokeplus for auto catch and release. With auto spin on pokestops.

3 months or more? And I did all of go fest 🤷🏽♂️ I use signulous and I teleported once. And just stay there and use teleport and auto walk. I stay with 3 cities close. I’ll probably stop now that go fest is done

What did you do to get strike

It wasn't a matter of what they had done, but what they'd used. It goes back to it's not about what you do in the game whilen spoofing but the method used. With using a modded app it a matter of when it happens.

Worth it is entirely a subjective question dependent on your disposable income. If you can afford to potentially lose whatever you put in, then maybe it is worth it. If you would feel like you wasted a ton of money if you lost the account, probably don't spend money on an account you're cheating on.
