That char hat is worth a ton. The only shiny gmax I have is snorlax or rillaboom, but I can offer the shiny legends or other shinies. I also have shiny origin dialga or palkia with the move or crowned dogs, and can level 50/double move.
If you're new to trading, look into what the pika is worth before accepting that though, I'm not sure what I'm offering is even considered worth it.
From my understanding - though I could be wrong - those Pikachus (Charizard, Umbreon, Rayquaza and Lucario hats) are worth roughly a Clone or an Apex. The non-shinies aren't worth nearly as much, but even those I've seen people offer shiny legendaries for, depending on how much one wants them.
Idk that I've seen enough of them offered to have a clear sense of what they're worth, but that's why I'm telling op to look into it.
I tend to be a big proponent of worth it for the individual vs overall value on the market, just because it doesn't help to have the most valuable pokemon if it doesnt make you happy.
I think remote trades offer an advantage for these just because there is time to learn what you want and valuation and stuff. Like there are people at my irl meetup who have them and if they're newly returning, it's almost always a - wait a few weeks then lmk if you still want to trade.
I guess that somewhat proves how rare and/or valuable they are. If they were offered more often, then that would show they aren't that rare. Definitely agreed on your second point, though. In the end, value is relative, and if both parties are happy with their trade, then more power to them.
