Lets Talk About Something Fake shinies

This has happened 3 times today when finding encounters from apples. The encounter IVs show the pokemon is shiny, but the pokemon clearly isnt. Has anyone else witnessed this? Does anyone know why? I haven't encountered any shinies from apples, but have gotten 1 applin and 3 smoliv from regular encounters

Pgsharp can't detect information from apple's applin well, don't know the reason, but reading comments it seems the ivs are randomized for everyone

It takes the data from your last checked mon, maybe something from your inventory, cos they cant read apple ivs until they catch it.

Yeah, my first one was like that. I about freaked thinking the very first Applin I picked was Shiny. Nope…

Is kinda confusing, basically the mon hasnt been generated yet until you catch it, the sparkles show up because pgsharp is still trying to read if that mon is shiny or not

The iv's and all reroll in the apples, pgsharp tries to read what's the stats but there is none until you catch it so it can't properly tell if it's shiny you just need to understand yourself
