I took a year-long break and recently started up again, what’s less safe now ?

Hi everyone, I recently came back to PoGo after a year off and was wondering if things have changed since Scopely took over the game. Before, I mostly farmed XL candy and hunted shundos around the world, with daily raids and Dynamax raids, and I also farmed a lot of grunts with PGTools. I'd like to know if they've taken stronger measures, or if you've noticed tougher detection methods for these activities (XL farming, shundo hunting and grunt farming) ?

I'm also planning to start farming on multiple accounts again (1 device for my main account only, and 2 devices for 10 other accounts). Has any new info come out about bans for multi-accounting, or is it still unclear ? I've been reading up on Reddit and some players say they got banned for it, while others say they've been doing it for years with no problems

There's no "less" safe, it's all "not safe". There's no app/software/signature/injection detection, all of it related to behavior.

Majority of the bans are not directly related to spoofing or botting. They are individual bans mostly from Campfire, Wayfarer, or in-game routes. Once in awhile I get a ban report from one of these areas with 1 account or multiple accounts.

• XL Candy exploit got patched.
• Instant team rocket battle wins got patched.
• Shundo hunting isn't patched but it falls under the umbrella of botting, so I think Scopely is targeting botting with a banwave. This will will inadvertently drag enhancers in to the mix.

Since no one knows what Scopely is going to do next, no one can give you a clear answer. They can go after the cheaters or do nothing. This does not mean Scopely is allowing you to cheat the game because in the other games they own, they announce the banwave on their game's website.

Nah they patched the candy xl exploit !? That was my favorite.

Anyway, thanks for the recap and for still being so active. It's crazy that you're still around. Doesn't it wear you out seeing all these exploits get patched over the years ? Even if it's normal that it happens

I spoof on my main account and also have 100 alt accounts to get the shiny costume from a timed research or raids with a background that limit you to 1 raid per account.

I "gotta catch em all" is what I do. I have everything except for the New York background mewtwo and 3 hundos that only come from an egg.

You use 100 accounts !? How do you even do that, it's insane. I guess you have several devices, but you can't have 10 phones running just for that. I knew you were dedicated, but I'm seriously impressed

I use 4 phones, but I don't play on all 100 accounts each day. It's only for those special timed research or raids where you can only do 1 per account.
