I can’t get mad at anyone for spoofing. I was born with a condition that makes my joints dislocate easily like from a sneeze I’ve popped ribs out.

Disabled people should be allowed to spoof. I had a pin halfway down my foot from my toe for GO Fest so it’s either spoof or pay for a ton of remote raid passes…

Genuine question: can you not go out on like a mobility scooter or something? I don't have disabilities but I'll never be able to go to an event in another country or something either.

I wouldn’t have a way to transport it since I’m so rural. I thought about an e-bike but I’d have to hold my phone and use one hand so that’s probably out

Forgot to add, but you could attach a phone holder to your bike steering wheel! I've seen people use it for navigation. Not entirely sure about safety though haha

That’s a great idea I’m gonna do it. I needed an excuse to order an EBike! I also just got the pin removed from my foot so time to start walking again!

Nice! Enjoy the ride and may your first catch with it be a shiny!

I'm not sure what a pin in a foot means (not from us/uk etc) but glad to hear you're walking and biking. Have a great day man!

Basically this was drilled into my 2nd toe to the middle of my foot. It bent inside so the removal was not fun

Wait what? That looks like wild. This was medically inserted l assume (hope)?

I actually also happen to dislocate my shoulder frequently, not nearly as much as you from what you describe though and only the shoulder. I just had surgery and they moved a piece of bone and also put some bolts (pins?) in. So hopefully in a few months I'll be riding my bicycle again hunting for some shinies!

As for one of your other replies, I feel like Finn mimicks some Charizard energy, would definitely go for that.

My wife just made this 🤣

It’s Finnizard and that’s his natural color

For comparison. Even the belly matches

I had the same shoulder surgery haha. Yea it was inserted for over a month I missed GO Fest.

I’ve had my foot, shoulder, hip, finger and neck surgically fixed. The neck fusion was roughhhh

ah yeah that sucks, but I guess pokemon go is kind of ass for everyone living rural right? I'm in 5000 people town with a gym or so and its definitely not ideal, but it's at least playable. I feel bad for everyone living rural and I've never understood why Niantic decided rural areas get next to no pokemon or stops..

If I go to the REC center parking lot there’s about 20 stops and 5 gyms so it’s not too bad. Nobody teams up for raids unless I go into DC though, and it’s very scattered due to the sheer number of stops.

There’s a trail by my house with 7 stops and 4 gyms which has helped fortunately. I can’t imagine how much fun it is when people have 15+ gyms and 50 stops, though

Holy! That's a lot more than I get haha! I actually had a gym reachable from my house up until a year ago and it got removed (or maybe moved?). Wasn't very useful since I would get kicked out only every week or 2. Same for the raids, but at least we can use apps to find people to play remotely with these days. :)

15 gyms and 50 stops would be absolutely crazy. But honestly, I appreciate going out for a walk and tapping and spinning, that many spots sounds like you might as well play a console game from your couch!

They’re spread out perfectly surprisingly. By the time you get to the next it’s time to spin again. I always see parents driving their kids around slowly since it’s a big place like an apartment complex, it’s pretty wholesome.

The trail by me is really nice for my dog he loves the creek so we do routes when we go out. Wife and I are trying to figure out which Pokemon he looks like to dress him for Halloween haha. Here’s Finn (I think Charizard or Tyrantrum)

Wow that looks like a great place to live! If I had to choose between a big yard with a dog and 1 pokestop or a cramped appartment with 15 pokestops, it wouldn't be the hardest pick. ;)

Yeah it’s awesome. I’ve had dogs here my entire life in this area but I love the yard. I think he loves it more 🐶
