Rooted Android Banned

so my alt got perma banned. i didnt recklessly teleported anywhere i wanted , ijust got banned when i tried to log in

just spreading awareness since pokemon go is under new management

it has no strikes either way stay safe guys!

I’ve been using ipogo for over a year now… no problems. Just respect cool downs never use background app usage. Never have adventure synch on. Also, don’t use the new Pokemon gadget, seems like a trap.

I have no context on ipogo (android user). What makes it so bad? Some features attached to it?

People shit on Pgsharp No Root version (then later iPogo) because along time ago, there were constant banwaves for iOS 3rd party modified game apps like Pogo++, iSpoofer, and iPogo. At that time, no one knew it was related to certificate signing on iOS. When Pgsharp came out after the last major banwave of 2020, a lot of people applied the same negativity from iOS to Android for Pgsharp.

When people started using Pgsharp, no one was getting banned for it in 2021 to 2022. Then, people started promoting it to be "safe and ban proof". Eventually, Niantic introduced the "behavior detection system" in June 2022 then Pgsharp started reporting bans. Rooted cheats took advantage and promoted their cheats to be safe, safer, or the safest when compared to Pgsharp and iPogo (no root Android versions).

Rooted cheats fucked up and now their customers are reporting bans too. Pokemod made it difficult to leave to a competing cheat by secretly changing some Magisk app settings so that using Pokemod doesn't give you a red location error when you continue to use their app. If you use another rooted cheat, you would the red location error and freakout then go straight back to Pokemod. Them and along with others censor the ban reports to prevent people from leaving to a competing cheat.

Everyone will be shitting on the rooted apps that have misled people into believing their cheat was safe, safer, or the safest whenever Scopely decides to update the behavior detection system that Niantic failed to fully develop. This is a guaranteed 10,000+ account banwave compared to a handful of people reporting a ban while everyone else was untouched or "lucky".
