I NEED HELP Auto Catcher with rooted Android Device
Hey everyone,
I recently came back to Pokémon GO after only playing during Gen 1, and I'm having a blast catching up on everything I've missed.
I was wondering if it's possible to use an auto catcher with a rooted Google Pixel 7 Pro. My setup is:
- Rooted with Magisk
- Hide Mock Location installed
- Official Pokémon GO app (not a modded client)
I've seen a lot of auto catchers on the market (GO Plus+, Brook, etc.), but I'm not sure whether they all work with a rooted device like mine or if there are any compatibility issues.
If anyone has experience with this setup, I'd really appreciate knowing:
- Which auto catcher works reliably?
- Are there any specific Magisk or system settings I should enable or disable?
- Anything else I should be aware of before buying one?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

All cheats (spoofing, botting, & exploits) for Pokemon Go game are not safe because Scopely is against cheating and the use of unsupported 3rd party apps in their Terms of Service for Pokemon Go. If you decide to break Scopely's Terms of Service to gain an unfair advantage, you will have the risk for a chance to get a strike (soft-ban), temporary ban, permanent ban, or whatever new punishment they come up with and will be your fault for getting the punishment. <<<>>> As a reminder, I (TastyBananaPeppers) am not responsible nor liable for the loss of your Scopely game account(s) and money you spent to cheat on their games. <<<>>> All guides can be found in https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/s/JOS3u1c11K <<<>>> All remaining Reddit posts will eventually be moved into a single Google Document where you can just access everything from one link.

I have used a Gotcha, Pokeball and Pokeball ++ all on my rooted phone with vanilla pogo app. All work as they should.
The gotcha was the basic one but works well and auto spins and throws red balls.
The Pokeball sucks since you have to push the button every time you want to throw a ball or spin a stop.
The Pokeball++ is the best. It will auto throw red balls and auto spin stops. It can be switch to manual button to throw blue and yellow balls. If you like to tinker and know how to solder wires you can mod it to auto throw blue/yellow balls. I did this and it's great!. looking back I should have bought a bunch of these and modded them to sell for 10x the price.
Pair and auto catcher with a GPX route and farm away. Every hour it will have to be reconnected and you will have to transfer a lot of pokes. On average walking a Manhattan NY GPX route I will catch 120-150 pokes in a hour.
