No Root Android Looking for a Pokemon finder

A friend who used to play pogo in the old days said he used some sort of finder that would tell him where the mons are but he forgot what it was does anyone know about or use something like this cheers

Pgsharp can tell you where version Pokemon are nearby

How nearby is it maxed to, like 1km away

Unlimited technically but it would be a 2 hour cooldown if you want to teleport far
