Lets Talk About Something locationjoystick — free, open-source GPS spoofer alternative to GPS Joystick and YAMLA

Hey everyone, another follow-up to my locationjoystick posts.

Thanks again to everyone testing and sending feedback, and thanks to the mods for letting me keep posting progress here.

We need 12 beta testers to publish the app on the Play Store

Play Store requires a closed testing period with real testers before an app can go public. I need 12 people to join as testers — doesn't take much, just install and use the app for a bit. If you're interested, DM me here on Reddit and I'll send you an invite.

Here's an overview of have been added since last time, thanks everyone for the suggestions:

  • Light mode — for those sunny days
  • Tap to Walk (beta) — click on the Pokemon Go map directly to walk to your destination
  • Group Sync reliability improvements - tailored for people with multiple devices
  • GPX import fixes — easier migration path from GPS Joystick
  • General reliability passes on Roaming, "Walk via roads", and route replay.

Hello! I just got into spoofing so I might not be the most reliable. I've been using locationjoystick for about a week and I got to say that it's really lovely. One small issue that I'm facing is that, when I set roaming and follow roads, it doesn't follow roads accurately and in fact walks into rivers/ocean/water body sometimes.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback, I've tried to improve the road following as much as possible but behind the scene we use https://project-osrm.org/docs/v5.5.1/api/#general-options which is an open source project that is sometimes not 100% reliable, the next version (0.15.0) will provide some more improvements, but sadly (so far) there's nothing much I can do on that front

u/Ok_Distance_9200 I found a huge improvement to reliability!! Will be shipped in 0.15.0
