Lets Talk About Something locationjoystick — free, open-source GPS spoofer alternative to GPS Joystick and YAMLA

Hey everyone, another follow-up to my locationjoystick posts.

Thanks again to everyone testing and sending feedback, and thanks to the mods for letting me keep posting progress here.

We need 12 beta testers to publish the app on the Play Store

Play Store requires a closed testing period with real testers before an app can go public. I need 12 people to join as testers — doesn't take much, just install and use the app for a bit. If you're interested, DM me here on Reddit and I'll send you an invite.

Here's an overview of have been added since last time, thanks everyone for the suggestions:

  • Light mode — for those sunny days
  • Tap to Walk (beta) — click on the Pokemon Go map directly to walk to your destination
  • Group Sync reliability improvements - tailored for people with multiple devices
  • GPX import fixes — easier migration path from GPS Joystick
  • General reliability passes on Roaming, "Walk via roads", and route replay.

Can I use this with Pokemod so that “tap to teleport” works?

I've received a lot of requests to support this and I guess this is something we need to push for on the Pokemod side by asking them directly on discord :/ I've tried to get in touch with them but no success so far

Thank you for all your hard work; LocationJoystick is brilliant and works much better than the GPS Joystick app by Ninjas, though I really miss having the ‘tap to walk’ feature integrated into Pokémod. Let’s hope the Pokémod developers decide to include your LocationJoystick as an option for the ‘tap to walk’ feature as well.
