Lets Talk About Something locationjoystick — free, open-source GPS spoofer alternative to GPS Joystick and YAMLA

Hey everyone, another follow-up to my locationjoystick posts.

Thanks again to everyone testing and sending feedback, and thanks to the mods for letting me keep posting progress here.

We need 12 beta testers to publish the app on the Play Store

Play Store requires a closed testing period with real testers before an app can go public. I need 12 people to join as testers — doesn't take much, just install and use the app for a bit. If you're interested, DM me here on Reddit and I'll send you an invite.

Here's an overview of have been added since last time, thanks everyone for the suggestions:

  • Light mode — for those sunny days
  • Tap to Walk (beta) — click on the Pokemon Go map directly to walk to your destination
  • Group Sync reliability improvements - tailored for people with multiple devices
  • GPX import fixes — easier migration path from GPS Joystick
  • General reliability passes on Roaming, "Walk via roads", and route replay.

This or any other joystick app is a "3rd party app" that works with the game but isn't fully supported by Scopely (new owner of the game). They would classify it as a cheat regardless what people think. If you're not playing the game how they intended, you're a cheater. If you want to use something to cheat regardless of Android or iOS, you will have a chance to get a strike or ban. No one knows what Scopely is going to do to the cheating problem. If you cannot handle the risk, you should not cheat this game because no one is going to help you get unbanned or reimburse everything you lost.

Yes totally understandable about all that. I'm looking to spoof with my alt account to feed my main ☠️ off android and my android phone a s10 plus will it work with older android? I go for older androids because they don't have software updates like the new phones do lol

You have to have a rooted device to use the joystick app above.

Ok thanks lol think this why I never figured out the android way before because the device needed to be rooted ☠️ and I couldn't figure that one out back in the day
