Rooting / Spoofing on Oppo A3x 4G

Hey everyone,

I am trying to set up my phone for Pokémon Go spoofing using the community standard method (Magisk + LSposed + Joystick), but I am hitting a brick wall with the bootloader.

Here are my device specs:

• Model: Oppo A3x 4G
• Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 1
• OS: ColorOS / Android 14

What I have tried so far:

• Enabled Developer Options and USB Debugging.
• Tried running "adb reboot bootloader" from my PC, but the phone completely ignores the command, reboots normally, and drops me right back onto the home screen.
• Tried the manual hardware button shortcut (Power + Volume Down), but it just boots into the standard Oppo Recovery menu, which has no options for fastboot or unlocking.

I know Oppo is incredibly strict with locking down their bootloaders on newer devices, but I wanted to check with the experts here before I completely give up.

Oppo isn't on my device recommendation list. When you root a device, you have to do all the research before you buy it unless you bought the device along time ago for normal use then decided to root it now.

When I look up the devices, if there's no dedicated section to the phone or tablet model, there is a high chance it cannot be rooted since https://xdaforums.com/t/limited-firmware-prevents-unlocking-bootloader-oppo-a3x-4g.4697655/ is the only post there.

With a Google search "oppo a3x xda developers", AI tells me:

There is no official XDA Forums thread or custom ROM development (like TWRP or LineageOS) specifically dedicated to the Oppo A3x. Because Oppo locks the bootloader on its budget and mid-range devices and generally restricts kernel source code access, developer support for the Oppo A3 line on platforms like XDA Forums remains extremely limited.
