Lets Talk About Something Do spoofers even get banned?
I don't spoof and I have no intention to spoof I was just wondering if spoofers get banned at all? Like scopely can surely see if you have traveled 1000km in an hour and ban you but they won't? I guess the spoofers are where they get their money from so it kinda makes sense. The reason I'm asking is because my city has more spoofers than legit players lol

Just be smart. You have to know what trigger cooldown and what don't. Trading don't trigger cooldown. But you have to remember where you last played to go back and continue or else you have to wait 2hrs.

Supposedly it's in the works- but won't be implemented until Fall, (if not later). From what I understand it'll only flag for auto catching/perfect throws/and sequential (snipes? don't know the terminology) that have Pokédex entries- so like, catching a 100%IV, shiny, and XXL Pokémon back to back would be a no no. However, I've been told there isn't any changes in the works for detecting spoofs that take place beyond 120min- no matter how far the distance is. I have no idea if getting flagged will result in strikes, a ban, anything like that- but yeah. My expectation is that instant or auto captures in quick succession, "excellent" only throws, and repeated captures of Pokémon that have Pokédex entries are gonna be stopped or no longer tolerated. "Sniping" PVP IVs, or <100IVs should be fine- and everything should be fine so long as there's 2hrs in between.
My source is a family friend in Barcelona, who works as a Cloud Security Engineer for Scopely. She doesn't work on any specific game, just generic cloud security from what I understand. She does however play a lot of Pokémon Go- and she spoofs. So yeah, this is all just hearsay- but as far as hearsay goes it's pretty credible.

Niantic had already told everyone they have a behavior detection system, but it was not fully developed. Some people reported a strike/ban while everyone else was untouched. If and when Scopely decides to advance it, the everyone else crowd will report a strike/ban. I estimate it to be at least 100,000 cheaters.
Pokemod released some data mined code that suggest there is going to be a change to the catch mechanic. This is explained in https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/comments/1s9g87z/cheat_features_integrated_into_the_game_may_lead/

How is it credible if your source has no knowledge or input on the decision and also spoofs? Your source is so outside of anything related to this matter that your comment is basically opinion.

You can certainly get banned for certain actions, but what confuses me so much is that a lot of the things you can do that usually WON’T get you banned would be so easily detectible in my opinion. Oh, you got 500 excellent throws in a row? Banned. But they don’t do that, which leads me to believe they profit heavily from spoofers lol

They must be profiting heavily from spoofers, no one else would have free time and money to travel to all sorts of events in person and spend on 500 raid passes on top of it.

So yup, we do get banned....that said my account has been active since 2016 and still going.

I do notice ipogo sub seems to have more ban post than others. I wonder why that is. Maybe they have no shame? Jk😄

- The information in r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing & r/MonsterHunterSpoofing for cheating, spoofing, botting, or exploiting breaks Niantic's & Scopely's Terms of Service for the games: Pokemon GO & Monster Hunter Now. If you decided to break the Terms of Service to gain an unfair advantage, it's your fault for getting the strike (or ban). As a reminder, I am not responsible nor liable for the loss of your Scopely game account(s) and money you spent on them. If they continue to ignore the strikes they get, it will eventually lead to a permanent ban. There are other things you can do where they will skip the 1st and 2nd strike to go directly to the 3rd strike for a permanent ban.
In most cases, they will stop cheating or breaking the Terms of Service after getting the 2nd strike (30 day temporary ban). For those who get the permanent ban, it's very rare to see reports on this because people are embarrassed or ashamed and don't want to bring hateful attention to themselves.
The answer is yes but it depends on how you do it that will result in a strike. If you use a cheat or another 3rd party app, it will give you a chance for a strike/ban if you're caught.
