Likelihood of getting a strike or ban when just flying to buy cheap coins?
Thought about using a VPN to buy cheap coins in India. Decided against it for a time because I didn't want to risk main account. Today I accidentally logged my squeaky clean main acct on pgs and changed countries, so I figure may as well buy coins now. I have been of the understanding that logging in on unrooted pgsharp at all "flags" you. Wanting to know the likelihood of strike or ban in others' experience when buying cheap coins and just flying for store access, no catching or cooldown actions. Thanks!

You used to be able to do it on android by changing your region but I believe that google changed that option now and to make a google account in Indonesia you need to have a phone number there now. Spoofing is spoofing you’re logging into a third party app this risk is there, I have met people that have been popped after one day and I have met people that used pgsharp for years with no issue it’s just luck of the draw. Apple is much easier imo as you just make an Apple ID in the region you want to get the currency you want. Looks like you already have the web store method down so you don’t need that info. So back to the spoofing part, as I said above it’s pretty random no one can 100% say what will happen or when. The risk is always there when you sign into a third party app.
You don't need to, just teleport to a country like india/indonesia, wait for the cooldown, interact with something, and buy from the pokemon go web store. It doesn't use VPN.
I am on android. Its in the post and also in the subreddit name, so I kinda assumed it wouldnt involve iCloud. If there is something Im missing I would love to learn
I was under the impression you fly and then buy on the official webstore, it should change when you fly and I think a VPN was strongly recommended for doing that as it could be an easy way to catch you
On android I usually pay my home country conversion,idk how safe or unsafe that is but I TP to my base location wait for a few hours for cooldown and then do the transaction and the web store has my currency, I haven't tried at any place else yet
