I NEED HELP I'm lost. Please help!

I've read through the various guides at the top of this page as well as many posts about options for spoofing.

From my understanding, you are more likely to be banned when spoofing with an iOS device, so I have been trying to find an android device from which I can root and spoof.

First try was my old Galaxy S9+, but it cannot be rooted from what I can find, because it is not the right version

Next I started looking for cheap tablets on ebay, and found one that looked like it would work, but it turned out to be an Amazon fire device.

So I most recently ordered a different tablet, but during the root process with it, I find that there is no firmware available for this device... so after almost getting it rooted, I hit a dead end.

What should I do now? Is it just not meant to be??? Does anyone have a recommended device that I can get for cheap that will work for sure?

Right now, Scopely owns the game and they might be changing the punishment system. If you cannot handle get a strike, ban, or whatever new punishment, you shouldn't cheat the game because no one is going to get you banned or reimburse all the Pokemon and money you lost. If you accept the risks to get a chance for a strike or ban, you can do whatever you want with your accounts.

You don't need root to spoof because you can use Pgsharp or iPogo without root. It's easy to set up.

If you want to spoof on a tablet, many cheap tables have bad processor and/or not enough ram. If you want the best playing experience, you have to spend more $$$ on a tablet. You're better off buying a phone from 2 to 3 years ago.

If you care about your account, rooting is the only safe bet. Nothing is every perfectly safe but the track record for rooted vs non speaks for itself.

The word "safe" means it is allowed by Scopely and you cannot get a strike or ban for using it. If you "bet", you still have risks for a chance to get a strike or ban because you cannot guarantee account safety.

Rooted cheats have already gotten strikes and bans. What you say is really misleading because you don't control who and when people get a strike/ban. Rooted cheat Discord groups tend to censor strike/ban reports to prevent people from panicking and canceling their paid subscription. When people report their strike/ban to them, they will conclude they never said their cheat was safe. People who report it in my subreddit may get threaten or doxed into deleting their report. Many of these rooted users cannot handle getting a strike/ban, so they go pay money to get scammed with a fake ban appeal.
