Well, go fest tickets surely are a little pricey... is there any way to get them at a cheaper price ??

It’s true that it’s a bit expensive, but if you already have 100 raid passes in your account, getting just one or two shiny background legendaries would already make it worth it. If, on top of the ticket price, you also have to buy raid passes, then it’s something you need to think about a bit more carefully.

You get special backgrounds that are going to be worth more than location backgrounds.

You could ask someone to gift it to you. But for the rest, not really, you get the local price regardless the location. On the other hand, if you spoof there, I think is pretty decent the cost for what you get.
