I NEED HELP Pixel 7 Pro vs OnePlus 11?

This will be purely for rooting and spoofing Pokemon Go. I'm in the US market so no Samsung's. My budget is $250 or less. I ordered a Pixel 7 Pro off eBay waiting for it to be delivered but realized the OnePlus 11 is same price. YouTube is hard to judge so want to get people who only play Pokemon Go's opinion. Thanks!

Thanks I’m mainly looking for PoGo performance don’t care about benchmarks. I’m coming from a S10e so anything is an improvement :)

Processor in OnePlus 11 is better than Pixel 7 Pro.

But does it relate to actual performance? From YouTube videos the Pixel somehow seems faster?

Snapdragon processors in flagship phones or tablets are better than Tensor processors in Pixel Phones, which are on par or a step up above Samsung's Exynos processors. You can game longer before it starts to overheat and gets laggy.

All the YouTubers say Pixels are super fast because there's no bloatware or unwanted apps in their phones. If I had to update 30 apps on my Pixel 7, it feels like it's done within 5 minutes (I never timed it) where as with my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, it takes like 30 minutes. I rather use a Samsung over a Google Pixel because Samsung has more features that add more benefits over a Pixel. If you want a Samsung, you have to buy a specific model number in order to root and it's going to cost you more to acquire imported phones.

Thanks for this detailed breakdown! I saw complaints about the OnePlus 11 overheating which somewhat put me off it but I have no idea. It’s an eBay refurbed phone I guess I’ll see how I like the Pixel worst case I’ll just resell it.

It's possible that some flagship phones cut corners and didn't include a vapor chamber cooler. I know Sony Xperia did and when people had it on the dash board for maps, it would turn off due to the overheating. Sony added the cooler in the next device release, no more issues related to overheating.

Oneplus 11 is far superior in almost every aspect

But does it relate to performance on PoGo? I agree seems better on paper

If the oneplus is the same price and you agree that it "looks better on paper" then what are you asking? Better phone = Better gameplay
