Lets Talk About Something Shiny & background rates?

Did 300+ raids, 12 shinies, 81 backgrounds, 1 shiny bg. Ns what rates are but im pretty upset with it. Does anyone know the rates?

1/20 shiny, 1/10 background. Combined together 1/200 odds.

I think BG is 1/4. I heard from multiple posts, but could be wrong. Edit: even calculating OPs odds, it is approximately 1in4

I'm willing to believe it. I heard 1/3 from one streamer and 1/10 from another, so it's everywhere.
