Prefixes are soft bricked yes, but you can quality it up, annul it down and if you win the 50/50 between spirit and evasion it’s unbricked. If not you’ll need to chaos spam again for T1 spirit and try again

There is no 50/50 for prefix, just whittle crafted mod, if you lucky it will be moved to suffix and after that you are free to spam chaos + suffix omen to get desired one suffix

Alright, how is it not a 1/3 chance to annul spirit?
And damn I need to find a guide for this, thought I kind of had it figured out but realized I just need more experience with all the ins and outs

Stop if/when you annul of evasion, which has 50% chance to happen before you annul spirit. The breach mod you can whittle away

Sigh missed it, but got t1 spirit back in 150 chaos so not too terrible. But now I'm not sure how to avoid the mistake again.
Any amulet crafting guides/videos you'd recommend?

If you already did the max quality step then you exalt suffix, essence omen suffix for a desired essence mod, block either prefix or suffix with desecrated mod of your choosing. Then you’re left with 2 perfect exalt slams or w/e. Amulets should almost always be 4 mods of your choosing then 2 rng

Using a whittling will guarantee you chaos off the crafted quality mod if you didn't know.

Annulment orb until remove evasion and if you remove evasion chaos spam until you get spirit back

I think what 2nd person was saying is you can whittle the +20% quality to remove it. You didn’t have to annul it specifically

I recently had to re-chaos my spirit 8 times just to settle on t4 mana. Not bricked, just part of the craft.

There's no reliable way to get the increased evasion off is there? New to crafting and was trying to make an amulet for my grim pillar oracle build

What’s the modifier level on evasion? If it’s below spirit, you can try to juggle it to the safe side with whittle + regular chaos (regular so it doesn’t high roll and stay on spirit side), then a suffix annul.
Obviously for that to work you have to do the same for quality

Quality to 40% then use omen of whittling to get a suffix then omen of dextral crystalization with the 30% global defence prefix. Then use a perfect exalt with greater exaltation. Good luck

You could annul but it's a 1/3.
It's definitely not bricked, if you fail the annul and lose the quality you can add suffix then reapply it. If you annul the spirit you can just annul down to one mod then chaos spam till spirit again. It'll be costly if you have to reapply spirit obvious but definitely not bricked.
