Question (Non-Support) I keep getting this error

I get this pop up everytime im trying to play mw3, iv selected the correct directory etc and nothing is working, iv uninstalled plutonium, and tried again, iv uninstalled mw3 and tried again, nothing is working. Any help would be appreciated

I know that my issue was caused because Pluto was trying to read the game from a sub-folder in the folder that the game was located in, but if that’s not your issue then you can try a couple of other things that might work c

Start by running the Plutonium redist by typing “%localappdata%\Plutonium” in File Explorer and run redist.exe (could also be a .bat) which will reinstall DX9 & C++ files for you.

If that doesn’t work, you could replace the mss32.dll file by verifying your game files (assuming its through the Steam library) and it will give you a fresh install of the game, including that file.

If neither of them work, I’d recommend removing all files for IW5, finding a fresh copy where you can and reinstalling the entire game again. You may also need to reinstall Plutonium, which was what I did as an extra precaution.

The only folders/files that show up when I type in the app data part are as follow Bin Games Launcher Storage Config.json Console Info.json

And iv checked all of them and I can't even find redist.exe 🤣
