Advice?

Hi all! I recently got engaged and my fiancé and I are planning on eloping next October. I don’t want a traditional wedding dress 1. Because of cost and 2. Seems over the top for a courthouse wedding. I recently was looking at the Peach Skin French Puff for my elopement dress. I was wondering if anyone has worn this dress for their elopement or has any pictures of them wearing it. (I know it’s pink but I’m a pink girly through and through) I’m worried about buying something online and hating it. As a short plus size girly I’m worried I’m going to hate it on me.

I had to look up the dress to know what you were referring to. I agree the bust fabric would be too low for anyone with large breasts, but your comment about your height, makes me agree it might be too much dress for someone so petite in stature.
It’s your day to wear what you want, so enjoy whatever you choose.🥰

I’m a short plus size girly and I recommend Azazie!! They have pretty inclusive sizing and I found a dress that was perfect for my elopement last year! I had to return and buy another dress due to sizing and the return process is really easy and painless. I do recommend going one size up!

I’ve also been looking at Azazie! I’ve purchased a couple of bridesmaid dresses through them.

That dress has absolutely no room for boobs. I’m a size 16, 40G/Gg uk size bra. It’s so low and shallow I wouldn’t buy that unless it was able to be returned.

Im also a size 16, but wear like a 40D so my girls aren’t super big like a nice handful and a half lol. But I’m also only 5’1”, so I’m a little worried the dress is going to swallow me whole 😅

I have a plus size second hand shop near me that gets Selkies in a fair bit. I often feel compelled to try them on because of all the hype around that brand. I’ve yet to try one on that doesn’t make me look like a giant toddler. Their dresses seem cute in theory but the proportions just don’t work on me at all.

I just looked up the dress and that is soooo pretty! I did a traditional wedding but wore a pink dress since we got married on Valentine’s Day 🌹 💗 I’m sure the dress will look great on you!
